Pray for Recruits

THELORD

I had a client that manufactured mobile phone antennae for Motorola in Scotland. Their headquarters was in Israel, where they manufactured radios fixed to one Christian radio station.

When I asked the HR Manager how they normally recruited, he told me that the senior managers usually get together in this room (we were sitting in), hold hands and pray for a recruit.

“So how is that working out for you, given that you’ve called me here to find you a new Quality Engineer?”
“Well the good Lord has seen fit to send you, and we have faith that you will lead the best candidate to us”.

To say I was dumbfounded was an understatement. My Flabber was well and truly Gasted!
