You know the stance; either standing or sitting, often recumbent with feet up on the desk, arms raised and hands clasped behind the head. I personally do this often, whether in the company or others or alone. It has the effect of stretching the shoulders and opening the airways.
Now I don’t have anything smart, clever, researched or worked out to say about this subject. Body language can be a very effective tool in job interview situations. However I have noticed how rooms full of guys often find themselves doing this in unison. Conversely, I don’t think I have ever seen women mirroring this type of overtly confident, (perhaps even arrogant) body language.
Have you?
