Right, I’m prepared to make myself look like an idiot here. Why is it that whilst so much of the world opposes the actions of Israel, with regard to its occupation of other countries, the blockade of Gaza, and unofficial possession of nuclear weapons, their support by the USA remains solid? Am I being misled? Do they just have terrible PR?
I’m not going to get into specifics (like today’s boarding of the aid ship by armed elite forces) , as it’s possible that I have been given an outrageously skewed version of the facts by a biased media. At the last count, there seems to be 223 UN resolutions regarding Israel (and not all of them are congratulatory).
Someone please educate me. Why does the world get so agitated about other countries in the Middle East, when what appear to be “rogue states” like Israel and Saudi Arabia are left to their own devices? I honestly don’t understand, and would welcome some education.
PS. Trivial I know, but why is Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest and the Champion’s League, when it’s in the Middle East?
